The Last Dragonslayer takes a modern turn on fantasy.
Dragons keep on dying out, therefor there is less magic throughout the world.
The complex moral issues is the fact that one one seems to care about magic
dying out, especially the king. This could could be stretch, but this could be
a metaphor to climate change and how the higher ups are willing to not worry about
it when it’s making them money. Even in a fantasy land, there’s a lot of greed,
especially for money and “dragon’s land.” Because Jennifer is the last dragon
slayer, she has no choice but to kill the last dragon and put an end to magic.
Out of anger, she does this but ends up being for the better and then magic is
restored.
